Mildura:
Where Opportunity Meets Lifestyle
A vibrant regional city full of contrast — from the winding Murray River to the vast Australian outback — Mildura offers a lifestyle that’s as diverse as its landscape.
Located in Australia northwest Victoria, right on the borders of New South Wales and South Australia, Mildura is a true oasis. Just a flight from Sydney and Melbourne and scenic drive from Adelaide, it’s well-connected yet far enough to offer a refreshing change of pace.
A City on the Rise
Mildura is one of Australia’s fastest-growing inland cities, with a thriving economy and a strong sense of community. The Sunraysia region supports over 5,000 businesses and a population of 95,000 people. Key industries include construction, agriculture, manufacturing, and public administration — all experiencing steady growth.
The Mildura Airport is the busiest regional airport in Victoria, with frequent flights to Melbourne and Sydney. A major terminal redevelopment has future-proofed the airport to meet growing demand, making travel easy and efficient.
Sunshine and Space
Mildura enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot summers, mild winters, and over 300 days of sunshine each year — more than Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. It’s often called the “tropical north of Victoria,” and for good reason. The weather invites an outdoor lifestyle, whether it’s river adventures, vineyard visits, or simply soaking up the sun.
A Food and Wine Haven
Renowned for its premium produce, Mildura is a paradise for food and wine lovers. The region is dotted with vineyards, orchards, and roadside stalls, while local restaurants, cafés, and cellar doors showcase the best of what’s grown and made here. Whether you’re into fine dining or farmers’ markets, Mildura delivers.
Culture, Nature and Community
Life in Mildura flows around the Murray River, where white sandy beaches meet desert landscapes. Locals enjoy water sports, fishing, and paddle steamer cruises, while parks and trails invite cycling, picnics, and sunset strolls. The city also boasts a rich arts scene, with galleries and festivals celebrating creativity and connection.
Events That Bring the Region to Life
Mildura’s calendar is packed with events that celebrate music, literature, sport, culture, and adventure - there’s always something happening.
