Day Procedure Unit
Flexible hours | Monday to Friday
We have an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join us in a part
time or full time capacity in our Day Procedure Unit.
The role:
You will be responsible for:
Providing safe, timely and patient-centred nursing care across all phases of the Day Procedure Unit, including pre-admission, admission, post-operative recovery and discharge.
Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and ensure appropriate documentation in line with hospital policies and clinical standards.
Delivering high-quality post-operative care, including monitoring observations, pain management, wound review and identifying clinical deterioration.
Providing support and education to patients and families about surgical procedures, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.

About you:
If you are interested in joining our professional and friendly team, you must possess:
Current Nursing registration with AHPRA
Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check
Up-to-date required immunisations
Full working rights in Australia
Strong assessment, critical thinking and prioritisation skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
