About the Role
You will be responsible for:
Providing safe, timely and patient-centred nursing care in consultation with the healthcare team, including patient assessment and response to change, delegation, direction and supervision of patient care.
Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and ensure appropriate documentation in line with hospital policies and clinical standards.
Delivering high-quality post-operative care, including monitoring observations, pain management, wound review and identifying clinical deterioration.
Providing support and education to patients and families about surgical procedures, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
About you
If you are interested in joining our professional and friendly team, you must possess:
Current AHPRA Nursing Registration
Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check
Up-to-date required immunisations
Full working rights in Australia
Strong assessment, critical thinking and prioritisation skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Available to work across a rotating 7 day roster
You will also demonstrate integrity, attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
