Dr Dawei Huang is an Australian-trained specialist orthopaedic surgeon with extensive clinical experience across New South Wales and Victoria. He completed his advanced specialty orthopaedic training in New South Wales in 2025 and has developed broad experience in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of orthopaedic conditions and injuries. He currently consults in private practice in Sydney, Wollongong and Mildura.

His practice includes hip and knee replacement surgery, sports-related injuries, carpal tunnel surgery, bunion surgery, work-related injuries, as well as medico-legal orthopaedic assessments. He is also accredited to perform robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery using the ROSA® Robotic Surgical System.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Huang maintains an active interest in orthopaedic research and education. His research has been published in internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals, including Injury and the ANZ Journal of Surgery, and he has presented his work at national and international orthopaedic meetings.

He combines evidence-based medicine with a thoughtful and personalised approach to care, with the goal of helping patients return to the activities that are important to them and achieve the best possible functional outcome. He enjoys working with patients from diverse backgrounds and values clear, respectful communication throughout their treatment journey.
