Dr. Cargnello is a highly experienced dermatologist who completed her medical degree and specialist dermatology training in Melbourne. She further honed her expertise during two years in London, where she served as a consultant dermatologist and senior lecturer at St Bartholomew’s Hospital.

Early in her career, Dr. Cargnello developed a keen interest in hair disorders, participating in significant research projects while in London. On returning to Melbourne, she played a pivotal role in founding the first dedicated hair clinic at the Skin and Cancer Foundation. This clinic has grown substantially and, more than two decades on, Dr. Cargnello remains actively involved—caring for patients and mentoring dermatology registrars.

Dr. Cargnello manages the full spectrum of dermatological conditions, with recognised expertise in hair disorders, acne, skin cancers, and the management of skin ageing. She brings over thirteen years’ experience using advanced laser technologies, including pulsed dye laser for vascular lesions (such as birthmarks and
sun-damaged skin) and 532/1064 Q-switched YAG laser for pigmentation concerns and tattoo removal.

Complementing her laser practice, Dr. Cargnello utilises natural dermal fillers and neurotoxins to provide holistic, tailored solutions for skin rejuvenation and the ageing process. She is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based dermatological care in a supportive and professional setting.
