About Mr Amal Fernando

With experience in Sri Lanka and Australia, Mr Fernando has found his home here in Mildura where he has a consultancy room at Mildura Health Private Hospital and performs a wide range of procedures at the hospital.

Mr Fernando joined us in 2021 after first receiving his general surgeon qualifications in Sri Lanka and completing further training to become qualified in Australia.

​

He is experienced in a variety of procedures including general and laparoscopic procedures such as breast, thyroid, gallbladder, hernia, bowel, skin lesions, carpal tunnel, trigger fingers, haemorrhoid procedures, varicose surgery, gastroscopies and colonoscopies.
