Dr. Burge is a highly skilled plastic and reconstructive surgeon who serves as the Section Chief of Craniofacial Surgery at The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne. As a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), President of The Australasian Society of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery and member of The Australian Society of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery, Dr. Burge brings extensive expertise to both adult and paediatric surgical care. His private practice includes operating at St Vincent’s Private Hospital (Kew and East Melbourne Campuses), Epworth (Richmond and Freemasons), Frances Perry, and Mildura Private Hospital.

Dr. Burge’s journey began with plastic surgery training in New Zealand, followed by two years specializing in craniomaxillofacial surgery. He then completed a year of advanced training in paediatric craniofacial surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and spent time in Cochin, Southern India, treating complex head and neck cancers. Additionally, Dr. Burge undertook a cosmetic surgical fellowship at The New Zealand Institute of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery.
