About Dr. Ozge Guzeleburc

Dr. Guzelburc completed her undergraduate medical study in Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical School in Istanbul, Turkey in 2007. She was awarded a prize for graduation with the first degree.

 

She commenced her Cardiology training in Istanbul Dr Siyami Ersek Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital and became a consultant of Cardiology in 2013. She completed her thesis as a part of cardiology training in plasma apelin level in acute myocardial infarction and its relation with prognosis.

Dr. Guzelburc has special interest in cardiovascular imaging. She was certified in adult transthoracic and adult transoesophageal echocardiography by the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) in 2018. 
 
She immigrated to Australia in January 2024 and commenced working as a Cardiologist in Mildura Cardiology. 
 
Dr. Guzelburc has been involved with a number of research that have been conducted in cardiology department at the Dr. Siyami Ersek Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital and has 36 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
