Dr. Morgan is a highly qualified cardiologist and graduate of Monash University. He undertook his medical and cardiology training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he gained extensive experience, including 18 months in intensive care and three years dedicated to cardiology. Dr. Morgan completed a two-year fellowship in echocardiography at the Royal Melbourne Hospital before further advancing his expertise during a two-year echocardiography fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, USA. There, he specialised in all forms of echocardiography, including transthoracic, trans-oesophageal, and stress echocardiography, with a focus on both clinical practice and research.

Currently, Dr. Morgan serves as a visiting medical officer and member of the Department of Cardiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he is also the cardiologist for the cardiothoracic unit and is involved in outpatient care. In addition, he holds appointments at Melbourne Private Hospital and the Epworth Hospital. Dr. Morgan operates a private practice in North Melbourne and provides monthly regional clinics in Mildura and Seymour, ensuring accessible specialist cardiac care to these communities.

Dr. Morgan's clinical interests and areas of expertise include ischaemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure, diagnostic coronary angiography, and echocardiography (transthoracic, trans-oesophageal, and stress modalities). He is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred cardiology services and utilises advanced diagnostic techniques to achieve optimal outcomes for his patients.
