Dr. Alison Walker is a highly qualified and experienced anaesthetist, currently serving as a Visiting Anaesthetist at Mildura Health Private Hospital and Staff Specialist at Mildura Base Public Hospital. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Dundee in 1991 (UK) and holds further specialist qualifications including MRCP (UK) and FRCA (London).

Dr. Walker has extensive experience in anaesthesia and intensive care, having worked in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Her career includes consultant and registrar roles at major hospitals such as Monklands District Hospital (UK), Glasgow Royal Infirmary, The Prince Charles Hospital (Brisbane), and Bundaberg Base Hospital. She has provided anaesthetic care for a wide range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, obstetrics, orthopaedics, ENT, maxillofacial, and paediatric procedures. Dr. Walker also has significant experience in managing intensive care units and has acted as Director of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Mildura Base Public Hospital.

She is actively involved in teaching and mentoring, regularly providing education for anaesthesia trainees, medical students, and nursing staff. Dr. Walker has contributed to clinical audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives, and has published and presented at national and international meetings.
